He has played a key role in establishing the Vicars Community Center as the first community owned resiliency hub in the state of Georgia. His earlier work as a researcher led him to the global Climate Change Impact and Adaptation Assessments study carried out by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) where he acquired a solid foundation of the issues surrounding climate change and the need for communities to be adaptable and resilient to the impacts. He is currently working with the government of South Fulton to bring awareness to the issues of resiliency and to establish centers throughout the city.
