Emma Bouton is the Advocacy and Organizing Director at Resource Rural, where she supports rural community organizing to shape decisions that impact local economies, infrastructure, energy, and the environment. Prior to joining Resource Rural, Emma worked as a community organizer, on electoral campaigns, and with state coalitions to develop and pass legislation on clean energy, housing, and workforce development. Emma has a BS in Environmental Science from Brown University. She grew up and lives in rural New Hampshire.
