Dr. Steve Burian is a Professor of Civil Engineering and the Director of the Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH) at The University of Alabama. In directing CIROH, Steve leads a consortium of 28 institutions from across the country with a mission to boost the streamflow monitoring and prediction, flood and drought forecasting, water resources decision making capabilities in the United States.
